Small to big animals in vivo molecular imaging

Fluoptics provides molecular probes and systems for in vivo optical imaging in preclinical applications on large and small animals. This combined solution helps understanding diseases mechanisms and developping new therapies.

Optical imaging system
Fluobeam
The only hand held preclinical fluorescence reflectance real time imager working in ambient light.
Compatible with all major optical probes
in the near infra red.

The fluorescent light emitted by the fluorophore under NIR laser excitation is collected and projected on a remote screen with a spatial resolution of 300µm.
Images or movies can be recorded.
Works in infra-red filtered high quality ambient visible light.

• Real time monitoring
• Colored fluorescence overlay of the image
• Real time user defined thresholding and display of the data
• Records without compression: images, sequences of images and video
• Data storage compatible with the main image processors on the market
• Fully compatible with the freeware Image J.

• Size: 65mm diameter, length 20cm
• Weight: 750g
• Operates in open space in a daylight like environment
• Illuminates the field of view with a high quality ambient light
• Excitation wavelength: 690nm (scattered optical fibred laser light 200mW)
•Works with all the main NIR fluorophores (CY5.5, CY7, Alexa Fluor 680, 700, 750, IRDye 680, 700
• Can be used on small and large animals
• Sensitivity: better than a femtomol fluorophore
